Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA), the largest airport in Bangladesh, has been temporarily closed, causing significant disruption to air travel.

The closure was confirmed on Monday by Group Captain Kamrul Islam, the Executive Director of HSIA.
The airport, located in Dhaka, is a crucial hub for both domestic and international travel, making this closure particularly impactful, reports UNB.
Authorities have yet to provide specific details on an estimated timeframe for when operations will resume.
