Train services between Khulna and the rest of the country have been temporarily halted after a bogie of a commuter train derailed at Jashore Railway Station on Monday morning.

Aynal Hossain, the station master at Jashore, confirmed that the incident occurred around 11:25 a.m. when a bogie of the Mongla Commuter Train, traveling from Benapole, veered off the tracks. As a result, train operations between Khulna and other major cities have been disrupted.

Efforts to clear the derailed bogie and restore normal train services are underway, according to Mahitosh Biswas, the in-charge of Railway Police. Authorities are working to ensure the situation is resolved swiftly to minimize delays for passengers.
