2 cousins drown in Kishoreganj pond

Two minor cousins drowned in a pond at Anowarkhali village in Pakundia upazila of Kishoreganj district on Saturday morning.
The deceased were identified as Nusaiba, 2, daughter of Siddique Hossain, and Adiba, 3, daughter of Mariam.
Locals said Nusaiba and Adiba fell into a nearby pond while playing near their house around 9am.
Later, family members rescued the two children and took them to Pakundia Upazila Health Complex, where doctors declared them dead, said Md Tawhid, residential medical officer of the health complex, reports UNB.
