The body was found under a bridge in Modhubagh around 1:30 am on Sunday



Police have recovered a man’s body from Dhaka's Hatirjheel Lake.

The body was found under a bridge in Modhubagh around 1:30 am on Sunday (September 24).

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Hatirjheel Police Station Sub-Inspector Karibel Hasan said on information, we recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical Hospital after taking necessary legal steps.

CID crime scene unit was informed. Details can be known later, the policeman added.
