Dead body recovered from MC College Hostel premises

Members of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) joined the local police at 11:00 pm to gather additional information.



 Police have recovered a dismembered body from the MC College hostel premises in Sylhet.

Police found the body parts in two separate bags at 10:00 pm on Tuesday.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

Azhahar Ali Sheikh, deputy commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police, said being imformed by locals, police retrieved two bags containing dismembered body parts.

An investigation is currently underway to determine the identity of the deceased and those responsible for the incident, he said.
