Two minor boys drown in Gazipur

Two minor boys drowned in a pond while bathing in Deoliabari area of Gazipur City Corporation on Sunday.
The deceased Junayed, 10, Abdul Momen, 11, were students of a local madrasa and lived with their parents at rented houses in the area.
Locals said both of them went to the pond to take bath around 11am.
As they did not return home for a long time, family members searched for them as they did not know how to swim.
After a while, the bodies were found floating in the pond, according to locals.
Sub-inspector of Konabari Police Station Md Rafiqul Islam said they visited the spot and handed over the bodies to their families without autopsy upon requests, reports UNB.
