Victoria Beckham launches budget fashion range for women, kids

Victoria Beckham has won huge acclaim for her fashion collections, but the hefty designer pricetags make it unaffordable to most fashionistas.
However fans of the former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer can rejoice – as the star is about to launch a “budget” collection of women’s clothing priced from £11 up to £60.
Her new range is a collaboration with American retailer Target, but it will be available to buy in the UK, via Victoria’s own website.

The range officially goes on sale this Sunday [April 9].
Mum-of-four Victoria is clearly catering for mums like herself, as the range includes womenswear and matching girlswear for the mini-me look – as well as some adorable-looking baby outfits.
And while dresses in her designer range will cost you anything up to £10,000, the Target range is an eminently more affordable affair – with shift dresses from just £35 up to £60.
There will be a total of 200 items in the debut Victoria Beckham Target collection, featuring skirts, blouses and trousers with scallop edging, floral shirts and shift dresses and hot pink trouser suits.
For children there are cute matching-mummy dresses, rompers from £11 and a simply adorable grey knitted bunny romper suit with pom pom tail for £30.
And while Victoria’s designer range in the UK is available from a size 4 up to a size 14, the Target range goes up to an American size 26 for the curvier ladies.
Target’s official website says: “With cap-sleeve dresses, patterned bomber jackets, applique tops and more, the collection reflects the essence of the designer’s Victoria, Victoria Beckham line and has us dreaming of spring.
“Victoria Beckham for Target includes apparel and accessories for women and children, and marks Victoria’s first foray into designing for kids.
Victoria’s designer ranges are available in Manchester at posh department stores Selfridges and Harvey Nichols – and Victoria has regularly returned to the city, where she lived with former Manchester United footballer husband David Beckham in the 1990s, in recent years to promote her ranges.
She told the M.E.N. on her last visit, to Selfridges in 2014, that she always loved returning to Manchester.
She said: “I think Manchester has a lot of style, a lot of culture and is such an exciting place to be. The people I have met here over the years have been incredibly stylish both in clothes and in attitude.” –Courtesy: M.E.N.
