Inter-service volleyball competition-2024 held in city

Dhaka, 24 Nov - The opening ceremony of 'Inter-Services Volleyball Competition-2024' was held at the Volleyball ground of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Base Kurmitola here today.
 
Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Logistics) Rear Admiral Md Zohir Uddin inaugurated the competition as the chief guest, said a Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) release this evening. 

In the opening match, Bangladesh Army team defeated Bangladesh Air Force team by 3-1 sets. Teams of the three services-- Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy 
and Bangladesh Air Force-- are participating in the event, it said.

Senior officers from three services and some other dignitaries, among others, were present on the occasion, the ISPR release added.
