Chattogram emerge zonal champions

Dhaka, 17 Feb - Chattogram emerged as zonal champions to reach final round of the U-23 National Youth Volleyball competition beating Cumilla by 3-2 set in the zonal final held at MA Aziz Stadium in Chattogram on Monday.
The Bangladesh Volleyball Federation organized the competition on the occasion of Festival of Youth, said a press release.
Earlier, on way to the final, Chattogram beat Cox’s Bazar by 3-1 set in the first semifinal while Cumilla defeated Habiganj by 3-2 set in the second semis.
A total of eight district volleyball teams -- four zonal champions and four runners-up teams -- will participate in the final round of the competition which will be held from February 25-26 in Paltan ground in Dhaka. BSS
