Dhaka district emerge zonal champions
Dhaka, 24 Feb -Dhaka district emerged as zonal champions to reach final round of the U-23 National Youth Volleyball competition beating Tangail district by 3-2 set in the zonal final held at Palton ground in the capital on Monday.
Earlier, on way to the final, Dhaka district beat Netrokona district by 3-2 set in the first semifinal while Tangail district defeated Jamalpur district by 3-1 set in the second semis.
The Bangladesh Volleyball Federation organized the competition on occasion of Festival of Youth 2025.
Meanwhile, the final round of the competition begins from Tuesday at the same venue.
A total of eight district volleyball teams -- four zonal champions and four runners-up teams - will participate in the final round of the competition.BSS
