UNO orders removal of rotten waste from Kuakata beach

Patuakhali: Kalapara UNO Kausar Hamid has ordered the prompt removal of rotten garbage and foul-smelling waste accumulated in the block adjacent to Marine Drive Road to alleviate the suffering of tourists in Kuakata, Patuakhali and prevent environmental pollution. This has brought relief to local residents and tourists.

For a long time, due to the accumulation of rotten waste in the block of Marine Drive area of Kuakata beach, local residents and tourists were facing extreme suffering while walking. The beauty of the tourist area was also being spoiled due to the foul smell and unclean environment. After the matter came to the notice of the administration, the UNO ordered immediate action. Following this, the concerned authorities started the removal process and relief has started returning to the area.

Local residents said that due to the quick action taken, the environment is improving and normalcy has also returned to the movement of tourists. They expressed gratitude to UNO Kausar Hamid for this initiative.

According to tourists, if such effective initiatives continue to protect the beauty and environment of the tourist area, the positive image of the tourist area will shine brighter. - Gofran Palash
