Water crisis deepens misery in Old Dhaka

Residents of Dhaka continue to suffer from a lack of basic civic amenities and Lalbagh area of Old part in the capital is one of the areas where accessing  safe drinking water has become a daily struggle for locals.


Women, children, and the elderly stand in long queues from dawn to dusk to collect safe drinking water.

The acute shortage of potable water has left local residents in distress, disrupting daily life and increasing the risk of health hazards, reports UNB.
