Heat to Persist in Dhaka, Rain Unlikely Today

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast continued heat in Dhaka and nearby areas, with no chance of rainfall on Wednesday.

According to a weather bulletin issued for the six hours following 7:00am, conditions are expected to remain mostly dry, with partly cloudy skies.

Daytime temperatures are likely to stay nearly unchanged, prolonging the ongoing warm conditions in the capital.

Winds are expected to blow from the south to southwest at speeds of 10 to 15 kilometres per hour.

Earlier in the morning, Dhaka recorded a temperature of 28.2 degrees Celsius at 6:00am, with humidity at 81 percent, indicating a warm and humid start to the day.
