Heavy Rain Likely In Four Divisions, Says Met Office

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain or thundershowers across all eight divisions over the next 24 hours from 9:00 am on Thursday, with heavy to very heavy rainfall expected in four divisions.

According to the Met Office, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely at most places in Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions, and at many places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.

The BMD also forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places in Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions.

Both day and night temperatures are likely to fall slightly across the country, according to the forecast.
