Light to moderate rain likely in 4 divisions: BMD

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers in four divisions in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am on Sunday.

“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions,” Met office said.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

The axis of monsoon troughs runs through Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across southern part of Bangladesh.

Monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and weak over North Bay. -UNB
