Mostly dry weather is expected across Bangladesh over the next 24 hours, with no rainfall forecast in any part of the country, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

In its forecast for the period from 6am to 6pm on Friday, October 23, the BMD said no significant change was expected in overall weather conditions.

Day and night temperatures across the country may remain nearly unchanged.

Meanwhile, a low-pressure area may form over the southeastern Bay of Bengal and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal. The system could intensify later, the BMD said.

Although the potential development of the low-pressure area may affect weather conditions in the coming days, Friday's forecast indicates predominantly dry conditions across the country.
