Mild cold wave is sweeping over parts of Bangladesh

Mild cold wave is sweeping over north, north-west, northernmost and western part of the country.

"Mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Dinajpur,Panchagarh and Chuadanga and it may abate from some places," said a metoffice forecast for the next 24 hours begins from 9am today.
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during midnight to morningand it may continue till noon at places. Air navigation, inland rivertransport and road communication may disrupt temporarily due to fog, reports BSS.
Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearlyunchanged over the country. Cold day condition is likely to prevail at manyplaces over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 26.8 degree Celsius atTeknaf and today's minimum temperature 08.5 degree Celsius was recorded atDinajpur.
Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and its adjoiningareas. Seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to theNorth Bay.
The sun sets at 5.31 pm today and rises at 6.44 am tomorrow in the capital.
