The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast that a low-pressure area is expected to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal and surrounding areas within the next five days, starting from 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to the BMD’s regular bulletin, the seasonal low is currently situated over the South Bay, extending its trough toward the North Bay.

The weather across the country is expected to remain mostly dry, with a partly cloudy sky at times. There may be isolated light rain or drizzle in parts of the Chattogram division.

Temperatures are predicted to drop slightly, both during the day and night.

In addition, the BMD has warned of light to moderate fog in various areas of the country, particularly during the late night and early morning hours.
