A light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during midnight till morning



Dhaka, Dec 25 -The weather across the country is likely to remain mostly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the next 72 hours commencing 9am on Wednesday, according to an update of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

A light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during midnight till morning, it added.

Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature is like to fall slightly over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country, according to the update.

The country’s highest temperature was recorded in Chattogram’s Sitakunda at 30 degree Celsius over the past 24 hours till 6pm on Tuesday while the lowest temperature 9.03 degree Celsius was recorded in Panchagarh’s Tetulia till 6am on Wednesday.-UNB
