The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted rainfall or thundershowers in parts of Chattogram and Sylhet divisions within the next 24 hours, beginning from 9 am on Sunday.

According to the BMD bulletin, "Rainfall or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, are likely to occur at one or two locations in the Chattogram and Sylhet divisions."

In addition, thundershowers are also expected in parts of the Rangpur division.

Elsewhere in the country, the weather is expected to remain mostly dry, with occasional partly cloudy skies.

Temperatures are expected to stay nearly the same during the day, but the night temperature could rise by 1-2°C across the nation.

The seasonal low pressure system persists over the South Bay, contributing to the current weather patterns.
