Amid shivering cold and dense fog, Dhaka recorded the season’s lowest 12.5 Degrees Celsius on Saturday morning, according to Bangladesh Metrological Department.

Dhaka and its surrounding areas may remain covered by moderate to dense fog until noon, it said.

The prevailing cold and foggy condition have reduced visibility in some areas affecting early morning movement.

According to a Met office regular bulletin, “Moderate to thick fog may occur at many places over the country during midnight to morning and it may continue at places till noon.”

Air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may disrupt due to thick fog.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.

Night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country’s minimum temperature was recorded at 9.0 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi, Ishwardi in Pabna and Badalgacchi of Naogaon district, reports UNB.
