Holy Shab-e-Meraj observed

Dhaka, Jan 27 - The holy Shab-e-Meraj has been observed across the country on Monday night with due religious fervor and solemnity.
The Muslims every year on the 27th night of the Arabic month of Rajab observe the Shab-e-Meraj. On this night, Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) had been ordained to be on an epic trip to the abode of Almighty Allah from Kaaba Sharif via Bautul Muqaddas where he led a prayer of all Prophets who performed the duty of calling mankind to the right path at different junctures of civilization.
In the epic trip, the Prophet (PBUH) rode an ultra speedy "Buraq" to heaven where Allah gave him instructions for the faithful to observe to get divine blessings and the Prophet (PBUH) moved about to observe heavens and hells.
Muslim devotees offered special prayers at mosques and homes seeking blessings of Allah for their welfare that of the entire nation, the Muslim Ummah and all of Almighty Allah’s creations.
On the occasion, Islamic Foundation organized a discussion and doa mahfil at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after Zohr prayers on Monday highlighting the significance of the Shab-e-Meraj.
