A skydiving aircraft crashed in northeastern France on Sunday, killing all 11 people on board, local authorities said.

The accident occurred near the city of Nancy at around 11:00 am local time, according to Yves Séguy, prefect of the Meurthe-et-Moselle region.

Emergency responders rushed to the crash site immediately after the incident, while investigators began gathering statements from witnesses to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the cause of the accident, and an investigation is underway, reports UNB.
