Former Saudi Shura Council member Khalil al-Khalil has condemned the alleged Houthi targeting of Medina, describing it as a hostile and unacceptable act to our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic.

According to al-Khalil, Saudi Arabia is capable of repelling missiles and drones and is determined to continue confronting the Houthis.

He said the group and its supporters were responsible for the attacks, adding that the targeting of the city would remain a “stain of shame” on its perpetrators, reports AL Jazeera.
