The Qatari International Media Office has denied reports that the US and Iran failed to reach a deal.
“Reports circulating online claiming that His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that the United States and Iran had failed to reach an agreement are false and misleading,” the International Media Office said in a statement.
“Qatari mediators remain in close coordination with the United States and Iran to support ongoing negotiations,” the statement added.
Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani said in a public interview on Friday that the US and Iran should not wait for a “perfect moment” to reach a deal to end the war, reports AL Jazeera.
