(BSS/AFP) - China-US trade fell for the first time in four years in 2023, official data from Beijing showed Friday, as geopolitical tensions between the world's two largest economies soared.

China's trade with the United States was valued at $664.4 billion last year, official data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed, down 11.6 percent on-year. The last fall was in 2019.
