Princess of Wales in hospital after surgery: palace

(BSS/AFP) - Kate, Princess of Wales, is facing up to two weeks in hospital following planned abdominal surgery, the British royal's office said on Wednesday.
"The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for 10-14 days, before returning home to continue her recovery," Kensington Palace said.
