Heatstroke kills 14 Indians in one day: state government

At least 14 people in India's Bihar state died from heatstroke in a single day this week, a government press release said Friday, after abnormally high temperatures scorched much of the country, reports BSS.

"As per information received so far, a total of 14 persons... succumbed to death due to heat stroke" on Thursday, the Bihar state disaster management department said.
