CA Prof Yunus meets UN Secretary-General António Guterres in New York



New York, Sept 27 – Secretary-General António Guterres reaffirmed the UN's commitment to supporting Bangladesh in its ongoing transition and reform processes.

The UN Secretary-General made the commitment during a meeting with Chief Adviser Prof. Muhammad Yunus here on Thursday.

During the meeting, Guterres expressed his gratitude for the strong partnership between the UN and Bangladesh, particularly acknowledging Bangladesh’s significant contributions to UN peacekeeping efforts.

They also discussed the Rohingya refugee crisis and the global challenge of climate change.-UNB
