10 Injured in Shooting Outside Queens Nightclub, New York

At around 11:15 p.m., a group of 15 to 20 people, mostly in their teens and early twenties, were waiting outside the venue in Jamaica, preparing to enter a private event. Chief of Patrol Philip Rivera confirmed that four male suspects approached the crowd on foot, and without warning, three to four of the men began firing into the group.

Approximately 30 shots were fired in rapid succession before the gunmen fled the scene. Surveillance footage showed the suspects entering a light-colored sedan with out-of-state plates as they sped away.

The victims, six women and four men, were transported to nearby hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Chief Rivera assured the public that all those injured were expected to survive.

A large police presence and multiple ambulances were visible at the scene, with footage from social media showing a chaotic scene outside the nightclub.

Although the motive behind the shooting remains unclear, Rivera emphasized, "This is not terrorism. We are working diligently to bring the responsible individuals to justice." He also expressed the department’s commitment to addressing violence, stating, “There is zero tolerance for these senseless shootings.”

Authorities are currently investigating the incident, and the search for the suspects continues.
