Qatar has joined a chorus of condemnation of the Israeli attacks on Iran from across the Arab world.

Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani said Israel’s “absurd actions” continue to destroy the prospects for peace and pose an imminent danger to global security.

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attack as a “clear violation” of international law and called for restraint.

The United Arab Emirates condemned the strikes “in the strongest terms” and “stressed the importance of exercising the utmost self-restraint and judgement” to avoid further escalation.

Egypt has also condemned the attacks, warning against the possible “unprecedented repercussions on the security and the stability of the Middle East”. - Al-Jazeera
