Bappi Lahiri enjoyed his first animated voice

Indians seem to be the flavour of the season in Hollywood. After Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone set the tone right, it is Bappi Lahiri who has now decided to spread his bling in the west. The veteran composer has lent his voice for a prime character in Disney’s musical anime film, Moana.

Talking to from USA, Bappi said, “Working in Hollywood was an amazing experience. I am happy that I got the opportunity to lend my voice for this beautiful Disney film. I have always been a fan of animated films and immensely enjoyed Jungle Book. So when Disney offered me the opportunity to dub for the character of the giant crab called Tamatoa, I was excited to take it up primarily because I have never dubbed for any animated film before. Also, I got the chance to sing a song called Shona in this film. From Amitabh Bachchan to Ranveer Singh, I have sung for different generations of actors. Now to sing in Hollywood is an altogether different experience” reports Indian Express
