BD ICT investigation agency releases report against 4


Dhaka, April 16 – The investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Monday released its investigation report in the crimes against humanity case against five persons of Jashore.‘Of the five, police have managed to arrest Md Amzad Hossain Mollah, 77, of Bagharpara, Jashore," said coordinator of the agency Mohammad Abdul Hannan Khan. The probe body official said this while addressing a press briefing held at its Dhanmandi office on Monday morning.
Investigation agency co-coordinator Md Sanaul Haque said they have brought four charges against the five accused, but did not reveal the names of other four accused as they are still at large.
‘We launched the probe against the five on April 4, 2016, and concluded on Monday. We have recorded depositions of 40 witnesses in the case,’ Haque said.
The investigation agency official also said they would submit the report to the ICT prosecution team on Monday. – Special Correspondent
