Teachers of Jahangirnagar University (JU) go on infinite work abstention from tomorrow demanding review of 8th national pay scale and a separate pay structure for them.‘Protesting pay discrimination of University teachers on the new pay scale and demands protecting the dignity we will observe work-abstention for infinite time from tomorrow announced by Federation of University Teachers Association’ (FUTA) said Secretary of JU Teachers Association (JUTA) Prof Mafruhi Sattar.
Prof Mafruhi claimed on the gegate its skip selection grade and time scale of University Teachers and also has been reduced others facilities.
‘All administrative and academic activity will halt till fulfill our demand’ he added.
Mentionable that, last year on December 28 JUTA observed work abstention till January 02 for the same demand.
