Taijul sends double centurion Kohli at India’s 495/5 back to pavilion


Dhaka – Indian skipper Virat Kohli finished his hammering completing a double century of 204 runs when the team collection was at 495/5 in the 1st innings on day two against Bangladesh in the one-off Test at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Friday.Bangladesh spinner Taijul Islam sent out big fish Kohli from the crease trapping lbw as he was trying to cut late the fuller delivery on off stump in 125.1 overs. Kohli played an innings of 246 balls to fire 24 boundaries.Returning to the crease after lunch with 191 off 230 balls, Kohli faced 8 balls more to complete his double century mission firing a boundary to reach 203 from 199 off Taijul Islam bowling when scoreboard showing 493/4 in 123.1 overs.After Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin came to pair Wriddhiman Saha and now batting on scoring 28 and 18 runs respectively at team collection of 533/5 in 134.3 overs.
