Two killed in Narsingdi road accident

Two persons were killed and one other wounded critically in a collision between a private car and a battery-run auto-rickshaw on Itakhola–Monohardi road in Ashrafpur area of Shibpur Upazila in the district at around 11:30am today.


The deceased were Md Zunaid Sheikh, 13, son of Al Amin Sheikh of Satpara village in Shibpur Upazila and Md Rubel Sheikh, 19, son of Khorshed Sheikh of Lakushi village in the same upazila.  Junaid's mother Mahfuza received serious injury in the incident. 

After the accident, locals rushed them to Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared Junaid Sheikh dead. 

Rubel Sheikh was referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, but he died on way to the hospital.

Confirming the incident, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Kohinur Mia of Shibpur Model Police Station said after completing the legal formalities, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to their families, reports BSS.
