Air Force official killed in city road accident

A Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) official has been killed in a road accident at High Court intersection in the capital .



A Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) official has been killed in a road accident at High Court intersection in the capital .
Deceased Sheikh Maksumul Kaiyum Royel, 45, was a senior warrant officer of the Bangladesh Air Force. He succumbed to his injuries at the ICU of Dhaka Medical College Hospital at 7:15 am after 24 hours of the accident.
His daughter Rafa Akhter, 13, and son Tanvir, 9, were also injured in the accident and are undergoing treatment at the hospital. They are the students of BAF Shaheen College's school branch.
Shahbag Police Station sub-inspector Md Razu Munshi said Maksumul was going to the school from his Jatrabari residence on Wednesday to drop off of his children. But when the motorbike, carrying trio, reached the HC intersection, the truck hit the vehicle and they fell on the ground.
