Road crash kills two motorcyclist youths in Rangpur

Two motorcyclist youths were killed in a road accident at Bishmaile Ghoshpur point on the Rangpur-Dhaka highway under Pirganj upazila in Rangpur on Monday afternoon.

"The accident took place when a passenger bus and the motorcycle with the youths aboard collided head-on from the opposite directions killing both of them on the spot," Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pirganj police station Md. Zakir Hossain said tonight.

The deceased were Limon, 25, son of Raushan Ali of Hajipur village in Pirganj upazila and Roman, 26, son of Kaiyum Mian of Shantipur (Bhaktipur) village in Mithapukur upazila of Rangpur.

A case has been filed with Pirganj police station, reports BSS.
