A prisoner died in Kashimpur Central Jail in Gazipur early Monday.



A prisoner died in Kashimpur Central Jail in Gazipur early Monday (January 2).
The death of prisoner Nehal Uddin, 65, son of Kanu Mia hailing from Gazipur was confirmed by Jail authority.
Kashimpur Central Jail-1 Senior Jail Superintendent (Additional Duty) Md. Amirul Islam said Nehal Uddin was taken to the jail hospital when he suddenly fell sick inside the jail at around 11:30 pm yesterday. However, he was later sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital as his condition deteriorated and he breathed his last there around 2:30 am Monday.
