Passerby killed being crushed by truck in Jatrabari
A passerby was killed after being hit by a truck while crossing a road in the capital’s Jatrabari area early Sunday.
A passerby was killed after being hit by a truck while crossing a road in the capital’s Jatrabari area early Sunday (February 26).
The deceased was identified as Monir Sarder, 45, son of late Chand Mia, hailing from Madaripur district. He used to live in Demra’s Konapara area.
The accident took place at about 5:45am when Monir Hossain was crossing a road in front of Konapara Bus Stand.
Sub-Inspector (SI) of Jatrabari Police Station Md Sabbir Hossain said getting a phone call from ‘999’, they went to the scene and recovered the body.
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy after legal procedure, he said.
