Police have filed a case for alleged negligence over the deadly explosion occurred in a building at Siddique Bazar in the capital on Tuesday last.



Police have filed a case for alleged negligence over the deadly explosion  occurred in a building at Siddique Bazar in the capital on Tuesday last.

Jafor Hossain, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Lalbagh division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), confirmed the matter on Friday (March 10).

He said, “The case was filed with Bangshal Police Station against unknown people. If anyone is found involved in negligence in the investigation will be arrested.

According to sources, all kinds of negligence including design and gas connection are being investigated. It is be probed If there is any negligence of the building owner and others concerned.

Mentionable, at least 23 people died over the incident so far. Many of the injured are in critical state. They are currently undergoing treatment in hospitals.
