At least 30 homes gutted, 2 hurt in Natore fire

At least two people were injured and 30 houses were gutted in a massive fire at Naldanga upazila of Natore.

According to locals, the fire broke out in the kitchen of Khalilur Rahman's house in Basila Uttarpara village of Naldanga upazila around 5:30pm on Sunday.

Four fire service units from Rajshahi’s Bagmara, Naogaon's Atrai and Natore, rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.

On receiving the information, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rozina Akter went to the spot and pledged to help the victims.

Fire Service Officer AKM Murshed said the exact cause of the fire could be known through investigation, reports UNB.
