Youth killed by lightning strike in Kalapara

Lightning strike
Patuakhali: A young man named Md Hasan Moral (38) died due to lightning in Kalapara of Patuakhali. This accident took place in Fulbunia village of Dalbuganj Union of the upazila at around 12 noon on Wednesday. The deceased Hasan is the son of Shahjahan Moral of that village. He was the father of two children.
According to local sources, Hasan was doing agricultural work near the house on the day of the incident. When it started raining with thunder around noon, he stopped work and went to the village to tie cows. He died on the spot due to sudden lightning.
