A fire broke out at a high-rise building in the Gulshan-2 area of Dhaka on Friday around 9pm.



Dhaka, Nov 20 : A fire broke out at a high-rise building in the Gulshan-2 area of Dhaka on Friday around 9pm.

On information, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control after half an hour's efforts. The fire had broken out on the third floor of the 14-storied building.

Sources said that fire originated around 9pm.

However, the source of the fire could not be known immediately.

No casualties were reported, said Md. Raihan, Station Officer of Media Cell, Fire Service and Civil Defense, reports UNB.
