Two persons were killed and five others
injured as a rickshaw and motorcycle hit by a passenger bus in Dohazari Hazari Market area on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar Highway under Chandnaish upazila of the district this afternoon.
The victims were identified as Motorcycle rider Mridul Kanti Nath, 60 and Rickshaw passenger Md Abdullah, 35.
Police said that a bus of 'Unique' tour travels from Cox's Bazar towards Chattogram hit the vehicles in the said area leaving the victims died on the spot.
Among the injured, Amir Hossain, 40 and Qutub Minar, 22 were admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
Police seized the buses detained its driver Mofizur Rahman, reports BSS.
