Khulna jute mill fire yet to control, 9 firefighting units deployed

The fire is yet to be brought under control till filing the report Tuesday.
A massive fire broke out at a jute mill at Dighalia upazila in Khulna district on Monday night.
The fire incident took place at 09:45pm on Monday at 'Zaman Jute Mill' in Nagarghat area under the upazila.
Being informed, nine firefighting units from nearby stations including Daulatpur and Dighalia rushed to the spot and working to douse the flames, said Assistant Director of Khulna Fire Service and Civil Defense Farooq Hossain Shikder.
The fire is yet to be brought under control till filing the report Tuesday.
The actual reason behind the fire could not be known yet and the extent of damage will be disclosed after investigation, he added.
