3 killed in Gazipur road crash

The deceased were known as Jahidul Islam, son of Abbas Ali, Mabzel, son of Ieakub Ali, Shawkat Ali, son of late Hasan Ali.
At least three people were killed when a truck rammed an easy-bike in Shilabristi filling station area of Kaliakair on Dhaka-Tangail highway on Monday morning (February 19).
The deceased were known as Jahidul Islam, son of Abbas Ali, Mabzel, son of Ieakub Ali, Shawkat Ali, son of late Hasan Ali.
Police said cement-laden a truck hit the three-wheeler around 6:30am in the area, leaving the three people dead on the spot and injured two others.
Noajor highway police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahadat Hossain confirmed the matter.
