Motorcyclist dies in Brahmanbaria road crash



Brahmanbaria, Apr 29 - A motorcyclist died after being hit by a CNG-run autorickshaw that led him to fall under a truck in Brahmanbaria. 

The incident occurred on Monday evening in the Bhadughar Fatapukurpar area of the city. 

The deceased, Shahadat Hossain Bhuiyan, was the son of Anowarpur's Sadekul Islam. He was a student at Brahmanbaria Government College.

His two friends, who were with him, said that they were returning to the city from a motorcycle shop in the Vadughar area.

When they tried to overtake a truck, the autorickshaw coming from the opposite direction hit them, they said.

Shahadat lost control and fell under the truck, resulting in his death on the spot. 

The highway police recovered his body and sent it to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital. 

Aslam Hossain, the duty officer at Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Police Station, said that the truck involved in the incident has been seized.-UNB
