Two friends were killed and another was severely hurt after the motorcycle carrying them slipped off the road in Cumilla’s Chauddagram on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as Md Delwar Hossain, 25, son of Shahid Mia from Dhanpur village in Sadar Dakshin Upazila, and Md Sagar, 23, son of Babul Mia from Joynagar village in the same upazila. The driver of the bike, Raihan, sustained serious injuries.

Nazrul Islam, sub-inspector (SI) of Miabazar Highway Police Station, reported that expatriate Raihan was returning home with his friends Delwar and Sagar after attending an event when they fell from the motorcycle while trying to overtake a car, reports UNB.
