Autorickshaw Driver Killed in Chapainawabganj Road Accident

An autorickshaw driver tragically lost his life in a road accident in Nachole, Chapainawabganj district, on Friday afternoon.


The deceased, Samsher Ali, 45, was a resident of Benipur village in Nachole upazila. The accident occurred around 5 PM when Samsher's autorickshaw collided head-on with a motorcycle at the Benipur intersection.

Both Samsher and the motorcyclist, Rasel Ali, 30, from Madhabpur village in Rajshahi district, sustained serious injuries. They were initially taken to the upazila health complex but were later referred to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for more intensive care. Unfortunately, Samsher succumbed to his injuries en route, while Rasel is currently receiving treatment at RMCH.

Officer in Charge of Nachole Thana, Md Monirul Islam, confirmed the details of the incident and emphasized the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
